A few thoughtful details to help you feel relaxed and prepared for your newborn photography experience.

What do I need to prepare for an in-home newborn session?

Very little. I bring my professional newborn photography equipment, wraps and carefully selected props directly to your home. You can relax in your own surroundings while I take care of creating your baby's beautiful portraits.

What if my baby doesn't sleep or needs feeding?

Every newborn is different, and my sessions are always baby-led. There is plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, changing and settling. Your baby's comfort and wellbeing always come first.

Can parents and siblings be included?

Absolutely. My Signature and Legacy In-Home Newborn Collections include parents and siblings. You can have these portraits taken at home or choose my split-session experience, with family photographs captured in my South Auckland studio at a later date.

How does the split newborn session work?

Your baby's beautifully posed portraits are captured at home, ideally within the first 7 to 21 days. Approximately 2 to 4 weeks later, we meet again at my South Auckland studio for your family portraits, giving you a little more time to settle into life with your newborn.
