Pregnancy is such a special chapter in life, and every family has their own unique story. One of the things I love most about maternity photography is finding beautiful locations that allow that story to unfold naturally.
One of my favourite locations feels like you’ve stepped into another world, yet it’s only a short drive from my South Auckland studio. Surrounded by flowing water, native greenery and peaceful scenery, it was the perfect setting to celebrate this exciting time before baby arrives.

Beautiful Gowns Included
One of the things my clients love is having access to my growing collection of maternity gowns and dresses.
For this session, we chose a soft, elegant gown that complemented the natural surroundings beautifully. The flowing fabric moved effortlessly with the breeze, creating timeless images that feel both elegant and organic.
I provide a carefully curated client wardrobe of maternity gowns and dresses, helping every mum choose a look that suits both the location and her own personal style.
A variety of looks
More Than One Location in a Single Session
One of the best parts of my Deluxe Maternity Collection is the flexibility to create a variety of beautiful looks.
We began this session at the waterfall before moving to my outdoor lifestyle area, creating two completely different styles of maternity portraits.
After our outdoor portraits, my client decided to extend her session so we could also create a collection of elegant studio maternity portraits. By the end of the afternoon, she had three different looks from one unforgettable maternity experience.

To finish the session, we moved into the studio for a collection of classic maternity portraits. Studio images have a timeless feel and pair beautifully with outdoor photographs, giving my client wonderful variety from one maternity experience.

The Best Time for Maternity Photos
I generally recommend booking your maternity session between 30 and 34 weeks.
At this stage, your bump has a beautiful shape while you’re usually still comfortable enough to enjoy your session and move around easily.
