Bringing home a new baby is one of life’s most exciting milestones. Those first few weeks pass incredibly quickly, and before you know it, your tiny newborn has already begun to change.
I visited this beautiful family in their Auckland home to celebrate the arrival of their newest little family member. Alongside timeless newborn portraits, we also captured genuine moments between Mum, Dad, big brother and their beautiful new baby.
Every family is different, and my goal is always to create photographs that feel natural, relaxed and full of connection.

One of the questions I hear most often is:
“What happens if my baby doesn’t settle?”
The answer is simple,I work entirely around your baby.
There is never any rushing during your session. We allow plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, changing and settling so everyone can relax and enjoy the experience.
A calm environment helps create natural expressions and beautiful memories that you’ll treasure for years to come.
Including the Whole Family
One of my favourite parts of every newborn session is photographing the relationships that are just beginning.
Watching an older sibling carefully cuddle their new baby brother or sister is something incredibly special to witness.
These are often the photographs families tell me become their favourites years later.
Rather than expecting young children to sit perfectly still, I gently guide them through simple interactions that feel natural and fun. This creates genuine smiles, beautiful moments and photographs full of personality.

Newborn sessions are best photographed within the first 7–21 days, although beautiful images can still be created after this.
My studio is based in Drury, South Auckland, and I welcome families from across Auckland for relaxed, baby-led newborn photography.
Every session is fully guided, so you don’t need to worry about posing. I provide wraps, blankets and newborn styling, while focusing on creating timeless photographs that you’ll treasure for generations.
