My sessions are calm, gentle and completely baby-led, allowing time for feeding, settling and cuddles whenever they're needed.

There's no need to organise a trip to the studio with your newborn.

In-Studio Wrapped Newborn Photography

These sessions take place in my private South Auckland studio and focus on beautiful portraits of your baby comfortably wrapped.
Shorter Sessions
My wrapped collections range from 30 to 60 minutes, making them a lovely option for families wanting a simpler newborn photography experience.
Your baby remains wrapped for the posed baby photographs, with different colours and setups creating variety.

How Is Wrapped Photography Different From Fully Posed?
In a wrapped session, baby remains wrapped for the individual newborn setups.
My in-home posed sessions offer a broader variety of newborn posing, including both wrapped and unwrapped portraits when baby is comfortable and settled.
Both create beautiful photographs, but the posing variety and session experience are different.

For families who love a softer, more natural style of photography, my guided lifestyle newborn sessions offer something beautifully different.
These sessions take place in my South Auckland lifestyle studio, using a relaxed setting designed for natural family connection.

What If You Want Posed Newborn Photos and Family Portraits?
This is where my in-home newborn photography offers something particularly special.
I know that during those first few weeks, many new mums love the idea of beautiful posed baby photographs but aren't quite ready to be photographed themselves.
That's why my Signature and Legacy In-Home Newborn Collections include the option to split your session into two parts.
Baby at Home. Family in the Studio Later.
Part One: I'll visit your home to photograph your newborn, creating those beautiful posed baby portraits during the early newborn stage.
Part Two: Approximately 2–4 weeks later, you'll come to my South Auckland studio for your parent, sibling and family photographs.
This gives Mum a little extra time to recover, settle into life with baby and feel more comfortable in front of the camera.
It's still part of your Signature or Legacy newborn collection, simply arranged in a way that works beautifully for your family.

Is Your Home Suitable for Posed Newborn Photography?
One of the biggest concerns parents have about an in-home newborn session is whether their house is suitable.
Please don't worry about having a beautifully decorated home or perfectly tidy rooms.
I'm Bringing My Own Photography Setup
For my posed newborn sessions, I bring the equipment and styling needed to create professional newborn photographs.
I simply need a suitable, safe area to work in.
Your photographs won't depend on having a magazine-worthy home, and you certainly don't need to redecorate before I arrive!

Does Your Baby's Age Make a Difference?
Yes, the age of your baby can influence which photography style is most suitable.
The Early Newborn Weeks
For my in-home posed sessions, I generally photograph babies between 7 and 21 days old.
This is often a lovely stage for traditional newborn posing, although every baby is different and their comfort always comes first.
Beautiful at Different Ages
Guided lifestyle sessions can work beautifully with babies beyond the traditional newborn posing window.
Because the focus is on natural connection, your baby can be awake, alert and enjoying cuddles.
