One of my favourite stages to photograph. Babies are often sitting independently, full of smiles and personality, while still having those gorgeous baby features.
On the Move
Crawling, exploring and perhaps pulling themselves up. Sessions can be a little more energetic, capturing your baby's adventurous side as their first birthday approaches.
Does My Baby Need to Be Sitting?
For a traditional sitter session, I recommend waiting until your baby can sit safely and confidently without support. This is often around 6–9 months, but there is no rush. If your baby isn't sitting yet, I can photograph their current stage or help you choose a later date.

What if my baby is shy or serious?
That's absolutely fine. I allow time for your baby to settle, and parents are welcome to stay close. Beautiful portraits don't always need big smiles.
When should I book?
You're welcome to contact me before your baby starts sitting. I can help you choose the right time based on their development and the style of portraits you'd love.
